About Express Engine

Express Engine is an ANSI Common Lisp based project to support:

• EXPRESS (ISO 10303-11) information model schema development and data population validation
• EXPRESS-X (ISO 10303-14) map and view development
• EXPRESS-X map and view execution environment

Express Engine has now added a Repository for Express and Express-X testcases.

Express Engine will consist of serveral components:

• Express Engine Kernel Library
• Express Engine GUI
• Express Engine CLI

The Kernel Library provides support for

• manipulating Express schemas
• using EXPRESS (ISO 10303-11) schemas to validate data populations
• manipulating the data populations
• using EXPRESS-X (ISO 10303-14) to transform data populations from one schema to another

The Express Engine GUI just puts up nice windows to allow easy access to the underlying functionality.

The Express Engine CLI provides easy access on the command line, making it easy to use Express Engine in scripts.
